What Second Rail does

Second Rail helps businesses explore additional merchant-account options and introduces them to independent third-party payment processors. We are not a payment processor, bank, underwriter or legal or financial adviser.

Processor decisions and service

Every application, underwriting decision, rate, reserve, hold, payout schedule and termination decision belongs to the relevant processor and its partners. We do not guarantee approval, pricing, uninterrupted service or that an account will remain available. Any processor agreement is between you and that provider.

Your information

You agree that information you provide about your identity, business, products, processing history and volume will be accurate and complete. You authorize us to use it to evaluate fit and, when you ask us to proceed, to share relevant details with prospective processors or their representatives.

Referral compensation

Second Rail may receive compensation from a processor or partner if an introduced merchant account is approved, activated or processes payments. Unless separately agreed in writing, merchants do not pay Second Rail for the introduction.

Website information and external links

Policy summaries and other website content are general information based on sources believed reliable at the time of publication. Policies change. Review the original sources and your own agreements. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own terms.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person or provide information for an unlawful or deceptive purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Second Rail is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of this site, a processor's decision or the availability of payment services. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
